While God is using His servants to declare Himself to the world, He is at the same time calling His church to "move up!"  So many of God's people today live beneath the "abundant life" Jesus called us to!  As part of Praise Cathedral's mission, Senior Pastor Lee Miley is passionate about discipling believers to move up to live a victorious life in Him.  Through Him we are victorious over sin, sickness and any power of the enemy.  Jesus conquered for us that we might LIVE in Him!  "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more ABUNDANTLY!" (John 10:10)  If we are living in obedience to Him and believe His Word, the promises that are in It will apply to us!  (Mark 11:22-24) Through Faith in Him we, as God's children, can be filled with His Holy power to defeat Satan's attacks, bring down spiritual strongholds, heal the sick, and cast out demons.  As a part of the ministry of Praise Cathedral, we encourage believers to trust in God's Word and to accept the life of faith God has called us to.  In that Faith Walk, we will obtain ABUNDANT LIFE!

There is a great need in these last days for the body of Christ to disciple new believers, and we believe strongly in discipleship in the church.  Jesus said in Matthew 5:48, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."  The word Christ used that is translated "perfect" actually means to be complete as that word applies to areas of labor, growth, mental and moral character. In other words, "lacking nothing", grow up to maturity in Christ!....And the ultimate pursuit of the growth process is to become more like Him!  Through the teaching and preaching at Praise Cathedral, we work to bring spiritual maturity and growth to this body of believers.

Pastor Lee retired from the Mississippi State Trooper after over twenty years in law enforcement.  He answered the call that had been on his life since a child to preach the gospel in 1996 when he was filled with the power of the Holy Spirit in a Tuesday night prayer meeting.  He immediately began preaching the gospel!  He and Teresa launched an evangelistic ministry in 2001, Flaming Dove Ministries, and  evangelized in the states of Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Louisiana until 2004 when they came to pastor Praise Cathedral.
