Since the beginnings of
organized worship, music has played a critical role in the life of the
church. From the time Miriam grabbed that tambourine and led Israel in
song and dance before the Lord, His worshipers have expressed their
joys and their tribulations through this medium that God so wondrously
made. Today, God is preparing His church (the Bride) to meet her
Bridegroom, and the songwriters and worshipers are becoming more
intimate in their worship of Him as they turn their hearts to a "one on
one" worship of our Lord. We are in the “last days” without
a doubt. Never before have there been companies solely dedicated to the
purpose of writing and publishing music as intimate worship of Him. We
are seeing the rise of such companies as Hillsong, Integrity, and many
others dedicated to turning the church’s heart and mind to our
Bridegroom. In the last days of this dispensation before Jesus' return
to this earth, He is calling His bride to an intimate knowledge of who
He is. As a result there has been a huge wave of praise and worship in
the world as a whole, and Praise Cathedral is certainly part of this
dynamic renewal.
At Praise Cathedral, we are passionate about true worship (not just
"lip service") before our Lord. We believe musical worship plays a
vital role in leading God's people into that understanding of what it
is to "worship" and truly "know" our Lord. Every service, we engage the
congregation in powerful praise and intimate worship with our hearts
set on entering the very Throne Room of God. Come join us as we worship
Him!
As a musician and vocalist, Teresa leads the congregation at Praise
